Overtown Children and Youth Coalition’s (OCYC) mission is to create a collective impact that empowers Overtown children and youth to reach their full potential. Our volunteers need to have a heart for service. OCYC’s plan for Volunteer Services is to recruit, develop, and retain an exceptional volunteer “workforce” to help fulfill the needs of the organization and community. We are committed to providing a volunteer experience that is immersive and impactful; maintaining the highest standards of service excellence while allowing volunteers to learn about the community, social justice, and collective impact.

We are always in need of volunteers for our various programs. We often need volunteers for the following programs and activities:

  • Event Support
  • Administrative Support
  • Program Setup
  • Community Liason
  • Duties as required by staff
