As a part of the OCYC Professional Development Series, we are sponsoring the Children’s Bereavement Center’s Lunch & Learn on June 27, 2019. Meet us at The Lotus House for this learning series.

What is the CBC Lunch & Learn Series?

    • Every month we cover a different grief-related topic
    • Attendance in FREE (so is lunch!)
    • 30 minutes for networking lunch + 1 hour of educational content with Q&A
    • All topics are relevant to those working with grieving children & families
    • Attend when you can – come to 1 Lunch & Learn or all 10. Whatever works for you!
    • Each month, a new Community Host will briefly present on how grief impacts their work
    • Always held the last Thursday of the month at Lotus House

This Month’s Speaker:

Matthew Woodfork, Ph.D.
University Psychologist, Florida International University
Dr. Woodfork obtained his Ph.D. in Counseling/School Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. His clinical interests include identity development among racial/ethnic minorities and psychological help-seeking attitudes and behaviors, particularly within the Black/African American community.

Continuing Education Credit:

1 CE credit is available to mental health professionals (i.e., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Psychologists) for a fee of $20. To receive the credit, please bring $20 cash or a check paid to the order of “Children’s Bereavement Center” to the event. You will receive your certificate upon the completion of a brief survey.
