About:

OCYC will convene a series of four (4) discussions to gain knowledge from various organizations, agencies, and advocates operating and serving the homeless populations' in Overtown. We are interested in gathering information on the numerous approaches being used to tackle this issue. We want to use this opportunity to create common agendas that will lead to shared solutions. As we know, many vendors give away food; shelters lodges women, children, and the working poor, healthcare providers attend to health needs, faith-based organizations conduct outreach, good-doers provide necessities such as blankets and toiletries. And a host of other services we will learn more from those who are in the field.
