Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Awareness Day

In collaboration with The Children's Trust, on November 2nd from 8:30am to 6:00pm we'll be at United Way Miami, located at 3250 SW 3rd Ave here in Miami. This is a day long event that we hope brings awareness to the needs of our community who struggle with social anxieties. There will be a luncheon provided along with raffles. Advocacy and Organizing Community Change/Parent Ecosystem
November 7, 2018
P.S. 305’s Advocacy & Organizing Fundamentals training covers evidence-based approaches to making systemic change on social issues, including those of PICO, ABCD Institute, Marshall Ganz, and 50CAN, and 270 Strategies/Obama for America. Leaders and organizations will come away with theoretical frameworks and practical applications for how to develop and implement an advocacy program or integrate advocacy techniques into their current work. This training is highly interactive and builds community amongst participants, in addition to delivering high-quality content.
Cultural Connections: Introductions to Cultural & Linguistic Competency

Most Executives and Management Level individuals may feel they have no time to work on maintaining their individual online presence. Keeping your personal profile updated, your privacy settings properly configured, and your interaction level into social channels consistently utilized has a more direct influence on your organization/business than you may realize. Knowing what to maintain, how often to post and engage and how to do so effectively can consume more time than most busy and successful executives have. Participants receive 24 hours of coaching within a 3 - 6 month period (allowing for maximum scheduling flexibility).
